Botanical Clay workshop with Habibe Win

Saturday March 14th

10.00am to 3.00pm

You will be using stonenware clay and will be shown Slab Building technique with some flowers, leaves and texture wood and plastic rollers.

You will be creating in your own chosen style and shape to make mugs, little plates and small decorative items using the same technique. *

Watercolour workshop with Victoria Vickers

The aim is to have a basic understanding of watercolours and to produce your own watercolour image at the end of the day.

Acrylic fluid art techniques with Helen Leake

Saturday Feb 28th

10am to 3.30pm

Discover acrylic fluid techniques on canvas.

 

Fluid paint can also be used to decorate a whole variety of objects, from jewellery to ceramics. You'll see examples of work and how to cover a vase to match your own interior designs.

Still Life 4 week Course 

 with Wendy Coleman

Starting in Feb 2026

Friday 10.00am to 12.30pm

27th Feb -20th March 

 

Try using different mediums to draw or paint a still life composition, observing shapes, light and dark, and negative shapes. This course is suitable for beginners and improvers and is led by experienced artist Wendy Coleman.

Annual Exhibition
26 October - 1 November 

Barnet Guild of Artists is delighted to announce our ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2025 from 26 October to 1 November in Wesley Hall, Barnet.

Our exhibition is the perfect showcase for members’ paintings, prints, 3D work and cards.


It also provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to peruse, enjoy and purchase unique pieces of art.

The Guild is an active association of amateur and professional artists and creatives. It was founded in 1948 'to provide facilities for the practice of the visual arts, and to encourage the understanding and appreciation of them’.


New members are always welcome!
