Artist Spotlight -Edmund Giszter

Edmund Giszter began painting in oils and acrylics in January 2024 when he attended the artist Julia Burton's classes at the Art Stables in East Finchley. He has likened discovering painting to being a child who has been handed the keys of the sweet shop.

Currently his work focusses on abstract paintings that include organic motifs and he is drawn to themes of dark and light, growth and decay and the interconnectedness of all things. When he is not painting he works as a therapist in private practice.
