Artist Spotlight - Helen Leake

Farmer's garden

Helen is a self taught artists with a love of using texture in her work. Over the past few years she has exhibited in The Reel Borehamwood, Candid Art Islington and Enfield Art Circle. She sells her work through Etsy which has attracted buyers as far away as America and Canada. Being a multi skilled craft fair she brings a whole variety of work to local craft fairs.

Being brought up in North Yorkshire, near both the sea and the dramatic moors, hills and countryside, she is heavily influenced by those surroundings, their colours, drama and panoramic skylines. Tending towards an abstract style her images are emotional responses to the world around her.
