Artist Focus - Hilary Kidd

Cosmos Quartet

Hilary's work has a graphic quality, with eye catching colour combinations and simple shapes. Her work leans towards the design side of art, and her flower designs and abstract work have been successfully printed onto cards and tea towels. She is a keen gardener and is fascinated by the structure of plants, which she photographs regularly. She likes using gouache paint because the colours are vibrant. Collage and printmaking processes also crop up in her work.
